HISTORY
In the Fall of 1981, eight Abilene Quilters' attended the Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas. They returned to Abilene with much enthusiasm and excitement about quilting. After much discussion, the Abilene Quilters' Guild was organized in September 1981 with 20 charter members.
Abilene Quilters' Guild is a community of enthusiastic and talented quilters of all skill levels! Becoming a member is a great way to make new friends and share your love of quilting! Join us at our next monthly meeting! Visitors are always welcome!
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE
Loyally Promoting Warriors sponsors 15 wounded Veterans at it's Annual Dove Hunt. Abilene Quilters' Guild has donated quilts each year. An extra quilt is for a silent action to help them raise money for their hunt.
